There is so much to do in this area, from hiking to cross country skiing along our great wooded trails, to playing in well maintained parks, shopping in our retail establishments throughout the area, in our downtown areas and tourist attractions such as downtown Georgetown, Acton, and the Glen Williams Artists Mill.

You will find recommended restaurants as well in this area.  From simple family dining at chain restaurants and small diners, to pubs, casual dining, and fine dining.  We have quite a variety as well, as we can find all types of food here, indian, thai, italian, chinese, japanese, as well as a good steak house, a gourmet tavern and country bistros.  In the summer there are numerous patios overlooking pretty views, and offer a relaxing place to eat and drink.

During the year, there are many festivals and special days that are planned for family fun, as well as the Farmer's Market which happens in both Georgetown and Acton weekly.  There are parades, fall fairs, the Highland games, lots of occasions to immerse yourself in the community and keep in touch with neighbours and friends.

The Town of Halton Hills has a great website offering tons more information about the area, what it offers, what the town offers and more!  Please feel free to check out the website here.
