Friday means nothing if you are a real estate agent!
Actually it means that we are just gearing up! Tony and I looking forward to a busy weekend! Since we are a team, we can get so much more done as well, without sacrificing service to our clients. In the end, along with excellent negotiating skills, in-depth knowledge about the market and the legal aspects of buying and selling, service is paramount. If you haven't looked, please check out our testimonials. We do good work!
The market is starting to gear up! There is more inventory coming on, and, I'm sorry to report, competition is back. There were several listing sold over the long weekend and last week in competition, and the sale prices were higher that the asking price. This is not happening with all listings, and there are some great listings on the market too, so do not be afraid! I have noticed as well, that some properties are holding back offers and setting the offer time again. We'll still have to see if that is the way it is going to go this spring market. I really hope not. I feel, and have always felt that the early bird should get the worm. If a buyer is quick to view, make a decision, and bring an offer, shouldn't that be rewarded with honest negotiating? I think so....
Please take a look at all of the newest listings on the market. There are actually a couple under the $400,000.00 mark, and some good semi-detached homes in Georgetown South. There are some stunning homes available in the higher price ranges as well.
8 Sutcliff Lane is a stunning town house located in north Georgetown, close to Glen Williams. This little pocket of newer development is quite sweet, with a little parkette, and great curb appeal. I like these town houses because they are so bright, nicely build and the finishes are really good quality. This unit is a good size, with a traditional layout with kitchen and living/dining on the main floor, three bedrooms upstairs with an en suite bathroom off the master, and a nicely finished basement. It backs onto the little parkette, giving some privacy in the little fenced yard.
Asking $624,900.00.
64 Robinson Road in Georgetown South is a great house, on a really good street! The Trimark built home also was built with quality as well! This is a very spacious home with a total of six bedrooms! There are two master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, making it suitable for a multi-family situation, or a great room for a teenager! The main floor features the usual formal living and dining rooms, upgraded kitchen, family room and an office!
Great for those who work from home! The basement is finished as well with two bedrooms, a recreation room and great bathroom. This is a home for a busy family! Asking $989,000.00.
The great thing about living in Halton Hills is the differing areas. We have all types of housing here, from high density to farms. This next home is just stunning.
14016 Sixth Line is a beautiful home, located between Georgetown and Acton on 1.5 acres. The home itself is pretty special with a huge solarium sunroom, a gourmet kitchen, home theatre, home gym, finished with hardwood flooring and skylights and vaulted ceilings. It's really something! The property also offers a large detached shop, a wonderful in ground pool, and more! Asking $1,525,000.00. Country living as it's finest!

We are looking at more and more inventory coming on each day! If you think you may want to get moving soon, Tony and I have a daily mailing program sending out information on a daily basis, giving it to you more timely. Usually in the spring especially, seeing a home sooner is best.
