A busy day is a good day!

I didn't think I would get around to doing the blog post today, but I finished my afternoon appointments a bit early! So I'll do this post, feed myself, and then off the races this evening. The races meaning showing some homes to a client. Tony and I are getting busy, now that the forecast says that this wicked weather is over! If you would like to see any homes, we are just a phone call away! Just saying.....

The Bank of Canada did keep the prime lending rate steady, so that is a good thing. There are some banks raising the interest rates on lines of credit, but so far mortgage rates remain steady for now. It's a perfect time to get that pre-approval. It doesn't cost you a thing, and it's good to know what you can reasonably afford, going into this spring market. I have great contacts, both mortgage brokers, and bank loans officers that can offer you their services. Just ask and I'll send over their contact information.

There are many new great new listings on the market. If you haven't checked them out, please do! Click on the blue buttons on the Marketwatch page. We are seeing lots of price reductions and properties being relisted at lower prices. What a great time to get serious about buying. We cannot predict the future, but I do see priced slightly rising as we get into the warmer weather. If they don't get more expensive, they will move quickly as well. If you see a home that interests you, don't wait to see it at an open house. Get in touch and we will show you as quickly as we can. Tony and I both think that it's better you have the opportunity to see it, and decide it isn't for you, than to miss out completely.

I have also noticed that many homes are selling below list price, with conditional time periods, certainly signifying that we are back to a balanced market. It's refresing to see that.

75 Lynden Circle is a town house in Georgetown, backing onto the Credit River! It is such a beautiful spot, in a good condominium complex. The unit itself is a wee bit tired, and could use some sprucing up with current decor, but the floor plan, and the overall square footage in this unit, make the asking price very reasonable. Please click on the photo below to see the photos. Asking $457,900.00.

119 Crescent Street in Acton is a century home that has been extensively renovated and improved upon! The homes on this street used to be the houses the workers lived in that worked for the Beardmore Tannery when the tannery was in operation ions ago. This street used to be a mixed bag of lovely homes, with homes badly needed of repair. In the past 20 years or so, many people have fixed up these homes, and new homes have been built on severed lots, adding the appeal and attraction of this little private pocket of Acton. This home has had so much work and money invested in the it. There is a wonderful detached double car garage with loft, new decking, the kitchen and bathroom are stunning! All this on a 1/4 acre lot in town. Don't wait! Asking $729,900.00!

My step-mother Linda listed this gorgeous home in a new estate development just east of Georgetown on Autumn Circle. This home is certainly a wonderful place! Quite large at 4075 square feet on 3.01 acres, this homes is meticulously finished with high end cabinetry, moldings, light fixtures, flooring, and workmanship. Every detail is looked at and executed with the right touch. Check out the photos by clicking on the picture below. This home offers four bedrooms with the master on the main floor, a formal dining room, gourmet kitchen, comfortable great room, main floor office with separate entry, huge walk in closets, and more. It's very lovely. Asking 3,199,000.00.

We are supposed to have a stunning weekend! I hope you enjoy it! Again, Tony and I are ready, willing, and available for your questions, and if you would like to see any homes.
