March Break Madness....

As usual, March break is kind of slow for us real estate agents. Many people are away, or taking time to do things with the kids. The spring market really takes off when the kids get back to school and the routine starts in again.

I was walking through our local mall yesterday , as it was too cold to walk outside for me (I am in the final months of recovery from two knee replacements), and saw a "bubble magic show" with tons of kids and their parents watching. There are also special skate times at our local arenas, special swim times, and a great program at the local library for kids too! The Parks and Recreation department of the Town of Halton Hills really does a great job programming for our community! We are fortunate!

I put this meme on our Facebook page the other day! I saw it on pinterest and was very amused as this was one of my favorite things to do, much to my mother's chagrin, as it caused such a mess in the house. But on March break, when the kids are bored, and you want them to do something with out screens, it's a lot fun, and free!

There are no new listings on the market under $579.000.00 in Halton Hills in the past while. Now, that is a drag! We anticipate that to change over the next few weeks as more inventory comes on.

41 Confederation Street in Glen Williams is a really niche property. The house, itself, is a sweet, renovated wee bungalow with really good finishes and workmanship, two bedrooms, spacious living room, beautiful kitchen with a bright sunny eating area, and lovely bathroom. The basement is for storage and utilities, as it isn't full height. The property itself backs onto the Credit River. Now, this property doesn't go all the way back to the river, as the Town Of Halton Hills owns the land directly behind this property, but you do have access, so that's pretty cool! The current owners constructed the oversized garage/workshop with a loft and a sliding glass doors to bring in lots of natural light. Tony thinks that you could finish the loft space into a great recreation area, if you needed more space for a man cave/shespace/office/studio etc. Asking $789,900.00.

50 Chester Crescent in Georgetown South is a very well appointed renovated and updated home in Georgetown South. Lots of money has gone into this home to update and make it one of a kind. It just shows really well! If you click on the photo below it will link you to the MLS information. Please check out the ceilings, moudlings, the staircase railings, and much more! This floor plan is also really great, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an unfinished basement, and on a good street!I think it is well priced! Asking $899,990.00.

Now this home is from Architectural Digest! Well, not really, but it should be! 9 Abbitt Crescent is located in an estate development north of Georgetown off the 8th Line, in some really pretty countryside. I know the photo is dark (some people like that - it's a thing now...), I don't think it shows the exterior to it's best! This is a very modern home with so much natural light, open floor plan, really neat layout, and, of course, the detail and materials used and workmanship in this home is second to none. the home is over 5000 sq ft, and sits on a private three acre lot with long views from any window. The outside space is also designed beautifully with a covered patio. It is a stunning property! Asking $2,350,000.00.

We hope you enjoy the last little bit of March break, if that is what you are doing, and please treat yourself to a green beer on Saturday for St. Patrick's Day! If you would like further information on any home that you may have interest is, please contact either Tony or myself! We are here to help!
